Internet poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure equal to the original bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pays out chips even with your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
