Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more experienced gamblers taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, beginners can take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a small bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier gets seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
